Online Ebook:
I found this module interesting as it was a combination of layout design and also illustration. For me, I've learned a lot such as the usage of indesign and also after effects as I explore the different functions to achieve the intended effect. Through this module, I've also been more sensitive to the text such as kerning. I've also started to love illustration and motion graphics more. Overall, I've learned a lot through this module.
Observation
I observe that the module helped to increase my sensitivity towards text. It has also introduced new sides to graphic design that I didn't expect to be interested in. Through the process of designing the layout, I found myself slowly improving as the weeks go by.
Findings
I found this module really helpful as it aided me in many other modules such as dissertation and branding as book design was required. I was able to use the skills learned in publishing design for other modules. I also found this module interesting as I was able to explore fields that I was interested in such as illustrations and also gave me a platform to explore other parts of graphic design.
