INSTRUCTIONS
14/5/2018 ( Week 8)
For project 2, we were required to illustrate and animate a turning point based on an urban legend that we must choose from the internet in an artdeco style the illustrator.I ended up choosing an urban legend called the killer in the backseat.

It was recommended by Mr Hafiz for us to create a mind map in order to remind ourselves about our ideas and expected outcome.
The urban legend I chose is about a lady that was driving home one night and she realised that a tailed her and kept flashing their lights at her. The car followed her all the way back to her house, she immediately ran out of her car and rushed to the door and screamed for her parents. The man from the car came out of his car and told her that he was trying to warn her as there was a guy in her backseat , apparently overtime he flashes his lights it's when the guy pops up. They both looked into the backseat and found a man crouching at the backseat with a knife smiling at them.

These are the two mood boards that I have. They have a dark colour to it because the urban legend takes place at night and I decided to go for blue as it gives a more scary vibe.

First Gif Outcome
After showing this to Mr Hafiz, He asked me to make the road move and also the hand of the driver so that the car looks like its moving which made sense so I made the changes.

Then I showed this to Mr Kanan and he told me how to improve it by bringing the horizon down so that it looks like the road is straight instead of upwards. And he also told me to change the lights of the back car to shine around its light and also to add reflective light on the mirror to make it look like a mirror and also to change the way the light shines from the back.I made those changes and this is the final outcome.
